Restricting professional film analysis to the board rooms of distributors and streaming services accomplishes two things:

-
Mismatch between film financed by public funds and audience preferences
-
Gatekeeping of content

FrameSage was founded to change that.
FrameSage
Connecting creativity
and capital
FrameSage is an independent, third-party provider of investment assessment and analysis services for the film industry. Our mission is to bring transparency and rigor to film investment evaluations, addressing the critical gap in commercial viability, sales strategy, target customer segments, and financial forecasting that is often missing in traditional film pitches. We serve independent film producers, institutions and investors with data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making in film financing.

Unlike many existing movie analysis firms whose business models are tied to either producers or investors, FrameSage operates with full independence, free from bias or external influence. We utilize proprietary methodologies to evaluate film projects both quantitatively and qualitatively during the pre-production phase. By aligning each project with comparable films and industry-specific data, we provide comprehensive assessments that enhance investment confidence. Our goal is to unlock the potential of the independent film investment market by offering transparent and reliable analysis for all stakeholders.

-
Can I submit a project to FrameSage that has been rejected multiple times from film funds and / institutes?Yes, we don't take into consideration the outcome of applications with other financiers.
-
How does the language of the film affect the analysis, and my chances of being included in a slate? The language of the movie affects the size of the addressable audience. Therefore, the choice will be made available based on the number of concurrent financing projects and the risk / return profile of your project in relation to the other projects.
-
Is FrameSage an investment fund? No. At FrameSage we connect private financing and high quality film projects. We believe that presenting high quality film projects in a structured way that private investors are used to seeing from other types of investments will drive more capital to the film industry than what one single film fund could do.
-
Can I buy my way into a slate? No. Each project must go through level 1 (Quantify) and level 2 (Qualify) with good results to be included in a slate.
-
